Changes Is A Great Bowie Song…And It’s What This Site’s Going Through

What you’re looking at right here is my new website via WordPress.org. If I do this right, it will change frequently and maybe even go through many awkward phases, but it will eventually look how I’ve been envisioning my site for some years now.

I first heard of WordPress a few years ago and immediately wanted to use it on my website. The process seemed too difficult, and I never committed any time to learning more about it. But after finally being frustrated/bored enough with my lame surfing habits, I decided that if I had time to surf the web (Myspace, Facebook, Wikipedia, Fark) then I had time to focus on my own site. Shit, it costs money anyway! (not real money…invisible PayPal money)

I’m excited.

  1. This is a test comment. I re-registered on my own site to see how easy the process was to subscribe to my blog. Pretty easy. Now I have two accounts on my own site. I can comment on my own shit!

I like the new site- I use cutline too.. If you need anyhelp – as if I am soo good with it, I’ll try to help! Or point you to my smarter friends who do this stuff way better…

    (insert whale noise here…)

  3. admin says:

Thanks for being my first subscriber, Raquita. And my first commentator! I have noticed that my “About” and “Archive pages don’t seem to work.

And do you know how I would make more (Cutline), non-blog, but similar looking standardized pages I can link from the home page?

    Either way, you rule.
