So, I’ve been getting happier (sadness due to personal conflict and interpersonal mis-management with The Lovely One) this month. January 2008 can go lick balls. Big hairy balls.
Now I’m feeling February. Maybe it’s because the weather has permitted; I am so grateful for the gorgeously chilly California sun that has bestowed itself upon us here in Silicon Valley. We are lucky bitches.
I just sat down to a mighty cuppa joe at Barefoot Coffee Roasters. This place has become such a haven over the last few years. It is where I am most social. It is where I have learned much about coffee and made many hometown friends. It’s just very good to be here.
Having been home for the last few weeks has put me into organization mode. Clearing shit out of one’s life is so important in the long run. I don’t have as much shit as I used to. I am tired of allowing myself to be so drawn to things I never realy needed.
Life is good. Weird and good.

I know what you mean about organizing and clearing life out. I’ve gotten myself way in over my head this semester between the two jobs, the schoolwork, and the girlfriend. Strange that they can all be things I desperately want to devote time to but that they are overwhelming when acting in concert. Too much of a good thing in action!
Love the new site. Hopefully you can impress the people at that St Louis gig enough to get them to shell out hundreds of thousands for Solomon Sparrows next fall. I know you will.
