On Being Fat [5]

I am obese. I am “Oh, Beast!” Right, Rachel?

In order to battle this notion, it must be a fact in my head and heart. Know your enemies so you can say No to your enemies. Being fat is my worst enemy.

I am obese. I cannot accept this. I am fighting it. I am pushing. I don’t need to be thin, but I do fantasize being smaller. Malleable. More active. Moving. Pushing. Speedy.

How did this happen? I will tell you.

NANCY REAGAN MADE ME FAT.

She coulda started a Just Say NO to Food campaign. Eff drugs. Food is killing more of us.

Whatever, Nancy. I blame you.
